What is self-help book ?
We define a self-help book as any book written with the explicit intention of helping its readers change or improve some aspect of their personal or professional lives.

-According to Scott McLean, Professor of Sociology and team, University of Calgary.

(Calgary)
Books in the self-help nonfiction genre are based on one’s own effort and resources to achieve things and goals without relying on the help of others. The books in this genre can be about self-guided improvement in one’s economic standing, their intellectual state of being, and in their emotionally and self-worth state of being. They can also be about support groups, how to find them, and what they’re about. The support groups provide encouragement and techniques to assist people with similar goals and needs to achieve them successfully.

The books take their name from Self-Help, an 1859 best-seller by Samuel Smiles, but are also known and classified under "self-improvement", a term that is a modernized version of self-help. Is one night @ the call center self-help book?

v Prologue (Pre-task)
v Epilogue (Thinking task)
v God's message to the group

v Four things needed for success

               a medium amount of intelligence,
                     a bit of imagination
              selfconfidence
              Facing, suffering failure

Pre task given by Author to reader for self analysis

Before you begin this book, I have a small request. Right here, not down three things. Write down something that

i)  You fear,
ii)  Makes you angry and
iii)  You don’t like about yourself.
Be honest, and write something that is meaningful to you.

Do not think too much about why I am asking you to do this just do it.

1. One thing I Fear:____________
2. One thing about that makes me angry:___________
3. One thing I do not like about myself.____________
Okay, now forget about this exercise and enjoy the story.
(Bhagat)

v This task through you will observe your inner thoughts and when you will write then you will think about it and now you have chance to change yourself so it is one type of component of self help book. when we read On@tcc, it help us reduce the stress and relief. We have find our inner call and we have to develop various four things.

In epilogue it can be find one line like:

“It is true thought; we all have a dark side, something we don’t like about ourselves, Something that makes us angry and something we want to change about ourselves. The difference is how we choose to face it. Here Chetan Bhagat wants to covey  us with help of all characters of On@tcc that how we should take action in our life when we face any struggle like this.

Chetan Bhagat has used technique of Deus ex machina with help of God in plot he explained the solutions. Normally some people not believe in the story so he gave two stories one from God side and another from Military Uncle's side.

v Four things needed for success
              a medium amount of intelligence,
                     a bit of imagination
              selfconfidence
              Facing, suffering failure

These four things we need to improve. Self-help book give just mental help, it not helps you physically but if you prepare yourself mentally than you not need to be depend on other.

Every day of life is not same, day by day we face different types of experience and sometimes when we get failure at that time we need motivation. There are many book and now a days videos also available. Some people write this types of book to make money so it is depend on person who has return book  so we need something different or more convenience things like

For example: ચાણક્યનીતિ
Some Theology books like શ્રીમદ ભગવતગીતા (કૃષ્ણ ઉપદેશ)

Here,  in the On@tcc in last part it can find that, God comes and said them I am with you. One thing is that he will not say Tathastu and you will get everything whatever you want but he just gives guidance to 6 people and they must to work on them way with thinking and smart work. It is like you are helping you with help of self.
